Every person is born beautiful. However, as we get older, we may find there are some features we would like to correct or adjust based on our own personal aesthetic. One of the most versatile tools we have at our disposal at Renew Wellness & Aesthetics is called Dermal Fillers. The expert injectors at Renew Wellness & Aesthetics specialize in using dermal fillers to help patients achieve their health and beauty goals.
Renew providers utilize a variety of fillers composed of hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body, such as Restylane®, Juvederm®, and The RHA® Collection. Dermal fillers are used for full facial rejuvenation, including softening wrinkles and folds and restoring volume due to collagen and bone loss associated with aging.
While the full face must be considered when creating a treatment plan, the most common areas treated are the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds (also known as smile lines), marionette lines, smoker lines, chin, and jawline. The injectors at Renew place a special focus on education and innovation, always learning new techniques and fine-tuning their skills. We want you to still look like yourself–renewed! Renew’s talented expert injectors use their artistry to create The Natural Oklahoma Look.

How Dermal Fillers Work
We use dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance within your body. Hyaluronic acid plays a crucial role in the hydration and structure of your skin.
Once we administer HA dermal fillers beneath the skin’s surface, it provides instant volume to the targeted treatment area. This volume can smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, restore or enhance fullness, and accentuate your most appealing features.
The benefits of dermal fillers don’t stop at increased volume. The hyaluronic acid molecules in dermal filler can stimulate the production of collagen (the essential protein that helps your skin look firm and youthful). Over time, this boost of collagen can improve the health and appearance of your skin.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much do fillers cost in Oklahoma City?
The cost of filler in Oklahoma City depends on the brand, placement, and amount of filler you need to achieve your goals. Renew providers are glad to create a treatment plan to meet your budgetary needs after your consultation.
Which brand of filler should I get?
It can be confusing to know which brand of filler is best for your needs, as each one works a little bit differently from the others. Luckily, you don't have to be an expert in filler varieties. Renew providers will make recommendations based on your individual needs, aesthetic goals, and even budget to ensure you are matched with the right variety of dermal fillers.
How much filler do I need?
Every person may need a different amount of filler depending on the placement and their short-term and long-term aesthetic goals. During your consultation, your provider will determine the amount of filler to best meet your needs.
What's the difference between Botox® and filler?
One of the most common questions we receive at Renew Wellness & Aesthetics is the difference between Botox® and Dermal Filler. Botox® is a brand of "neuromodulator," which relaxes the underlying muscles that cause wrinkles to form. Conversely, filler helps lift and "fill" areas that have lost volume or show wrinkles. Most of the time, it is a combination of both of these that truly produce the most radiant results.
How long do results from dermal filler last?
The duration of your results can vary depending on the type of filler you choose and your unique skin. Most hyaluronic acid fillers last between 9 and 18 months. After this time period, you will need another round of treatment to maintain your results.
Where can you inject dermal fillers?
In Oklahoma City, we use hyaluronic acid fillers to treat a variety of aesthetic concerns in different areas of the body. Some of the most common uses for dermal fillers include:
-Under eye filler to fill in hollowness and make you look more rested
-Nasolabial folds to smooth out smile lines
-Cheek filler to lift, sculpt, and define cheekbones
-Filler to reduce the appearance of marionette lines and chin shadows
-Lip filler to enhance or restore natural volume and erase vertical lip lines
-Jawline filler to create a more contoured jawline
Who is a candidate for dermal fillers?
If you are 21 or older and don’t have major underlying health conditions, you are likely a candidate for dermal filler. However, it’s important to talk to your provider or doctor before receiving any injectables.
The best candidates for dermal fillers have moderate to severe volume loss in the face, cheeks that sag, thin or thinning lips, and are willing to take care of their skin to keep it looking healthy.
We do not recommend dermal fillers to patients who have a skin infection in the targeted treatment area or have an active breakout in the treatment area.
Is it painful to get dermal fillers?
You don’t have to worry about pain when you get dermal fillers in Oklahoma City. At Renew Wellness & Aesthetics, we do everything possible to make sure you are comfortable in our clinic.
Some patients tolerate injections just fine, but we understand that everyone has a different level of pain tolerance. We offer three options to minimize any discomfort you may experience with injections:
1. Topical anesthetic
Your provider can apply this topical numbing cream to the treatment area so you won’t feel pain from the injection.
2. Injectable anesthetic
Your provider can inject small amounts of lidocaine into the treatment area, such as a dental block, so you won’t feel pain or discomfort from the filler injections.
3. ProNox
ProNox is an inhalant of nitrous oxide and oxygen that makes you feel like you’ve had a few glasses of wine. It helps to minimize anxiety about treatment and wears off after about 10 minutes.
If you are nervous about dermal fillers in Oklahoma City, please let your provider know! We want you to feel at ease and confident going into your treatment.
