Dr. Julie Shelley, DO
Dr. Shelley is a Family Medicine and Sports Medicine trained physician in Oklahoma City, OK.
She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended Vanderbilt University, where she received her undergraduate degree and master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. She attended Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical training, where she learned the importance of treating patients from a holistic approach, focusing on the WHOLE patient – body, mind, and spirit – in the treatment of optimal patient health and wellness.
She initially became interested in aesthetic medicine during her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Center for Health Sciences in Oklahoma City, OK. She attended several Botox and filler courses across the country and began injecting patients while in residency. After residency, she pursued a Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine, where she became interested in the emerging field of regenerative medicine, including PRP and PRFM in the treatment of orthopedic injuries. She witnessed the healing effects that regenerative medicine can have on the body and started transitioning her focus to these treatments for aesthetic and wellness procedures.
Dr. Shelley has attended several training courses across the country in the field of aesthetics, regenerative medicine, and sexual wellness. In 2019, she founded Renew Wellness and Aesthetics, with a focus on treating patients from a holistic approach. Dr. Shelley is passionate about improving the lives of patients through the field of aesthetics and regenerative medicine. Her goal is to help increase the confidence and performance of her patients so that they may live their lives to the fullest.
