How does Renuva compare to fat transfer?
Fat transfer moves your own fat from one location to another, which requires liposuction, anesthesia, and recovery. It also delivers unpredictable results, because a portion of the transferred fat does not survive. Renuva skips the harvest entirely. We inject a matrix that recruits your cells where they already live, so nothing has to survive a move.
How long until I see results?
You will see volume immediately, but that early fullness comes partly from the matrix and partly from swelling. Real results build as your body populates the scaffold, which takes 3 to 6 months. We schedule follow-ups accordingly, so you are not judging the outcome prematurely.
How safe is donated tissue?
MTF Biologics screens every donor extensively, including serology and nucleic acid testing, and processes the tissue to remove all cells and DNA. That is why it does not trigger rejection. However, no screening program completely eliminates risk, and disease transmission remains theoretically possible with any transplanted tissue.
