How is this different from the fillers I already get?
Most fillers are hyaluronic acid (HA). HA holds water, so it softens and plumps. Radiesse is a mineral suspended in gel. It adds structure the day of your appointment, then triggers collagen growth in the same spot over the following months.
Patients describe the difference as firmness. Neither product replaces the other. We reach for HA when treating the lips and cheeks, Radiesse along the jaw and the deeper folds. Many of our patients get both.
How long do results last?
Around 1 year for most patients, and some last longer. How long your results hold depends on how much product you received, where we placed it, and how quickly your body clears it.
