Treatment

Your treatment will begin with receiving a blood draw to extract the platelet-rich plasma from your body. This plasma contains the growth hormones that help heal and regenerate the treated area. After separating and concentrating those platelets in a centrifuge, we inject that plasma back into the clitoris and upper vagina. The procedure itself offers little to no discomfort, as we’ll provide a local anesthetic to the area.

Results

For some, results are experienced immediately. Most patients will begin to see results within a few weeks, with full results enjoyed typically after three full months. The results from your treatment should last anywhere between 14 and 18 months, after which you can choose to receive another injection.

Pre-Care Instructions:

  • Avoid the use of NSAIDS (ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, Advil, Aspirin, Naproxen, etc.) for 7 days before your treatment
  • Avoid the following nutritional supplements for 7 days prior to your treatment: Ginko Biloba, garlic, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, flax oil, curcumin, and other anti-inflammatory nutrients
  • Avoid the systemic use of corticosteroids for 1-2 weeks before the treatment
  • Hydrate very well the day before your treatment for ease of blood draw
  • Tell your provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Notify your provider immediately if you have active cancer, recent pelvic surgery, or an active infection

Post-Care Instructions:

  • Avoid the use of NSAIDS (ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, Advil, Aspirin, Naproxen, etc.) for 7 days after your treatment
  • Avoid the following nutritional supplements for 7 days after your treatment: Ginko Biloba, garlic, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, flax oil, curcumin, and other anti-inflammatory nutrients
  • Avoid the systemic use of corticosteroids for 1-2 weeks after the treatment
  • Eat a healthy diet and hydrate well, drinking at least 64 ounces of water daily
